A Bit About Me
I got excluded from two schools before I learned to manage my ADHD and autism. I had my problems growing up, but they helped make me who I am today. I also spent part of my childhood in the care system. That's one piece of my story, not the whole of it.
“You have to be odd to be number one.”
I've been finding ways to make money since I was a kid — washing cars, cutting lawns, editing videos. The video editing stuck. I wanted to be a YouTuber from age 13, and for a while I was one, with real brand sponsors. It was my childhood dream. At 17 I started my first business, The Cinemalist, doing social media strategy and video work for other people.
“Be yourself so that the people looking for you can find you.”
At 18 I bought Nightingweb from Chema Perez, who built the company in 2016. I have no formal qualifications. A regular job has never worked for me — I do better building things on my own terms than following someone else's structure.
“There are two men in this world — the one who believes he can, and the one who believes he can't. They're both right.”
I'm open about struggling with alcohol, drugs, and vaping in the past. Staying quiet about it does more damage than being honest ever could. I care about mental health for the same reason — I want young people struggling at school to know things can change. If I can do it, others can too. Now I'm building Introcard, a metal NFC business card for introductions that matter.
